To help you get up and running on ClearSync, we've created this handy "Getting Started" Checklist. We recommend that you complete every step in the checklist, but feel free to skip any steps that you believe don't apply to you.

        

  1. Play Around With ClearSync

          

    • Create an Account: Visit www.clearsync.com and click on "Free Account" or "Buy".

    • Download and Install: To download the ClearSync application, please go to the ClearSync download page and click on the "Install ClearSync 2 for All Desktops" button.


      NOTE: ClearSync, like many common applications, is written in the Java programming language and runs on all recent Windows PCs, Macintosh Computers, and UNIX/LINUX systems. The ClearSync Download page will automatically check to see what version of Java is installed and will prompt you to automatically upgrade to the free latest version of Java if needed.

    • Log In: At the end of the download and installation, you will be prompted to enter the Username and Password that you created for yourself when setting up your personal ClearSync account.

    • Create a Calendar: When you open ClearSync, create your first calendar by going to the "Calendar Manager" icon. Designate a color and privilege status to it. Show Me How

    • Import a Calendar: If you would like to import a calendar in the iCal format, click on the Import icon, and choose to either import it as a separate calendar or as part of an already existing calendar. Show Me How

    • Create Some Events: Now that you have a working calendar, take some time to create a few different events. Show Me How


      NOTE: You can get to the ClearSync web application from any Windows, Mac, UNIX/LINUX or Mobile browser by logging into your ClearSync Account at www.clearsync.com and clicking the "Web Viewer" tab.
