Official ClearSync General Sweepstakes Rules

To provide fair and equal chance of winning to all ClearSync blog readers, Facebook followers and users, the following are the official rules for all sweepstakes on CLEARSYNC websites.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. All winners must be 18 years of age or older, unless otherwise stated and/or posted.

1. Entering Sweepstakes and Choosing and Contacting Winners

• Winners of sweepstakes will be chosen at random from all entries received. Entrants must send entries to the correct sweepstakes entry email address, use the correct language in the subject line, and include any other specific entry information as required in the sweepstakes announcement. CLEARSYNC is not responsible for and will not consider incomplete, incorrect emails. CLEARSYNC is not responsible for emails sent, but not received by CLEARSYNC regardless of the reason.


• Winners of all sweepstakes will be contacted at the "sender" email address used to enter the sweepstakes. The person receiving and replying to the winner announcement email will be considered the winner unless he/she specifies another person as the winner in his/her reply email. CLEARSYNC will mail the sweepstakes prize to the address supplied by the recipient of the winner announcement email.


• Only one entry per email address will be considered for sweepstakes entry, unless multiple entries are specifically allowed in the sweepstakes posting. Unless otherwise specified in an individual sweepstakes posting, no person may enter any sweepstakes more than once using multiple email addresses. Before receiving the prize, the winner must send an email reply to CLEARSYNC from the email address he/she used to enter the sweepstakes within 30 days of being notified of winning the sweepstakes. If the winner fails to respond to the winner announcement email or sends his/her reply from an email address other than the one from which the original sweepstakes entry was sent, he/she forfeits the prize. There is no guarantee that CLEARSYNC will award the prize to another entrant if it is forfeited by the chosen winner.

2. Submission of photo, text or other media for Sweepstakes

• Entries selected for display and that win "best of" sweepstakes and/or any other sweepstakes requiring a photo, text or other media from entrants will be judged entirely at the discretion of CLEARSYNC.


• By submitting a photo, text, or other media to CLEARSYNC, you hereby grant to CLEARSYNC and its employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees and assigns, an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish and otherwise make use of the submitted photo, text or other media in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter created, throughout the world and for any purpose. In addition to other rights, the rights granted to CLEARSYNC include but are not limited to the right to resize, crop, censor, edit, compress, feature, caption, affix logos to, and otherwise alter or make use of the submitted photo, text or other media.


• By submitting any photo, text, or other media to CLEARSYNC, you hereby represent and warrant that the submitted photo, text, or other media does not: infringe on any third party's patent, trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property right; does not invade any third party's right of privacy; does not constitute a public disclosure of private facts; does not appropriate a third party's name, likeness, image or identity; and does not place a third party in a false light. Additionally, you hereby represent and warrant that you have the authority to grant any and all rights and licenses granted to CLEARSYNC herein, including but not limited to all necessary trademark rights and copyrights and that said rights and licenses are free and clear of any claims or encumbrances.


• You acknowledge and agree that CLEARSYNC shall have no obligation to post, display or otherwise make publicly available any photo, text or other media submitted by you, and may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, remove, edit, modify or delete any photo, text, or other media that you submit to CLEARSYNC. You understand and intend that any photo, text, or other media submitted by you to CLEARSYNC may be available for viewing, rating, review, and comment on by the public, and understand that any comment or rating with which you disagree or are unhappy about may still be published by CLEARSYNC or otherwise become associated with any photo, text, or other media you submit to CLEARSYNC. By submitting any photo, text, or other media to CLEARSYNC, you hereby waive any right to privacy that you may have regarding said photo, text, or other media submitted by you to CLEARSYNC.


• You hereby agree to hold CLEARSYNC, its employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, sponsors and assigns harmless from and against, and hereby waive any right to pursue: any claim of any nature arising in connection with the inclusion on, publication in, or display of any photo, text, or other media you submit to CLEARSYNC on any CLEARSYNC site; and any costs, damages, injuries, or any other claims related to entering a CLEARSYNC sponsored sweepstakes or winning the prize.


• Photos, text, or other media submitted by you to CLEARSYNC shall be the property of CLEARSYNC and CLEARSYNC shall have no obligation to preserve, return or otherwise make available to you or others any photos, text, or other media so submitted.

3. Awarding Prizes

• Winners are solely responsible for any/all taxes and/or fees which may result from winning a sweepstakes.


• Each winner must supply CLEARSYNC with his/her legal name, mailing address, birth date, and daytime and nighttime telephone numbers.


• A request for a substitute or alternative prize will not be granted. If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, CLEARSYNC may substitute a prize of like or equal value.


• CLEARSYNC's employees and their family members are prohibited from winning any prize.
